Mike Banner
Born in Virginia but raised in California.
Lives & works in Washington DC Metro Area
I am a self taught pencil portrait artist. I have years of experience drawing police forensic composite portraits from victim descriptions to help police agencies locate criminals. Most of my police art became "wanted poster" type community bulletins. I have spent most of my career working in law enforcement in one aspect or another.

I have dabbled in advertising pictures that became early "clip-art." I was a intern for a famous animation studio while waiting for a full-time spot. I enjoy drawing people because each person or subject is different , unique and a challenge. Thank you for your interest in my artwork.
